Hows my handstand day? Well, I’m trying to learn the proper technique for handstand pushups. So far so good. It’s a bit odd.
I’ll try to explain what I did before and what I do now.
While in handstand basic position I’d start to lower my self with my elbows pointing sideways from the body. After watching a training video from livewire, i noticed his elbows was pointing backwards. Or to put it this way. His triceps was tucked near his body, and not far away. Like my previous technique. After testing the difference I realized that it is gonna work way better. My shoulders are more relaxed, and I feel I have better control. The only thing for me to do now, is keep training on this technique until i get used to it, and systematically used it in every time I need to lower my upper body closer to ground. Wish me luck
