What is it with me and challenges? I’m currently involved in no less than three challenges.. And in the past I’m done with two!

The newest challenge was made on a Norwegian Fitness related forum; Someone challenged me to walk form one side to another on a dump – the one kids are bumping on if your’e wondering. Of course I took the challenge, stupid as I am.

The other challengese currently are:

I’m working on em! Imo the flare is hardest, I’ll start practizing it when my knee is better.
Ohh btw, this was the film that originally madesomeone challenge me on the dump

Discovery

It’s not the TV-channel I’m talking about, but rather something others did. Their discovery led to me discovering something I haven’t discovered before - obviously.

He shows a complete  - for me – new technique; By using one armed elbow lever he grants access to pretty much awesome combinations, no need for revert lower-down then? And yea I know, it’s a 2010 movie, but it’s said that hes currently making another one. Can’t wait for it, should be awesome.

Walking On Sunshine

On September 1, 2011, in Handstands, Inspiration, by Handstand

Today was day two of my Hand balance training, got to say this; It’s hard not being able to just walk around doing handstands walks etc. I find it mentally challenging not being able to walk around in stairs, down boulders and such, but rather standing on one place only and practice different techniques.

Today I’ve been working on one armed handstands, 360 rotations on parallels , elephant lifts and hands on hand handstands. It’s challenging and fun. Tomorrow I’m picking up my camera so expect a video of the stands anytime soon!

In the meanwhile my Swedish competitor took the challenge easily, the stairs? No problems, not only did he manage an incredibly long walk down, he also walked up a fair amount of steps! Just look!

I asked for how long he had been training handstand walking in stairs, the reply was shocking(!): “First time ever yesterday, I promise! Well.. trained it more when I was around 17-18 years old. Now not so much, just when someone challenges me. =)”

That is proper respect, he took the challenge head on! Now it’s up to me; but two days? Hell no. Give me two weeks okay?
