We will not do that.Walking with hands is the process of moving your hands up and down while moving forward, in order to amaze unsuspecting people and in order to get to a specific destination. What I mentioned above, is exactly what we are going to do. And the risks of doing this is obvious, though I’ll just explain it to you: You can, and will, fall on your head. That’s why you don’t try walking on hands while your drunk, pregnant, under the influence love, masturbating, cycling, climbing, on drugs, being arrested, in the telephone, saved by a fireman, in a parachute jump, taking the dishes, driving, having sex, fighting with your girlfriend or anything that might inhibit you from focusing on your handstand – or else you will have a date with mother earth surrounded by gravity and the pain himself. A Handstand Article
Walking on hands is fun and entertaining – and not hard to do at all. The secret is loosing balance and then force yourself to get it back; Once restored, loose it again. Now, if you do it this controlled, and slowly lean your weight forward or backward while loosing control, you will experience loosing the handstand – now this is the time for action! Move one of your hands to regain the balance. Voila!
The walk
What I want you to do now is simple. Repeat, repeat and please repeat what you just repeated so that you remember repeating the repeated repetition. That’s the clue here; repeating the repeated repetition. And if you forget it, you will have to start all over again. After a while you will get bored, trust me, this is completely normal. However: this is the point where most people fail; when you get bored you should stop. Wait for a few days then start again – and that’s another point where people fail. If you overcome these you will find yourself a lot better than when you started. And you may feel like a Einstein when discovering that this is when the fun begins.
Secret
There isn’t really a secret to tell. The technique it self is simple, loose control leaning your weight the direction you want to go, and then get it back by using your hands until you have control again. After awhile you will discover that your not loosing control, but still are able to walk with your hands. That’s when your getting the hang of it and from that moment of you should be proud.
Getting the hang of it
Brag about yourself now, show your friends what you have learned. And start controlling your handstand walk. Choose to stop, choose to walk again, then choose to stop. Walk forward, backwards and sideways! – people often forget that you can walk sideways on your hands, crab walk is what I call it!. Have fun, play around and the most important thing of all. Challenge yourself. This way you handstand will improve faster than you know it.
A little note, don’t forget practicing your handstand hold. The main reason why I’m telling this is because when people learn to walk they often forget to practice their handstand holds. Making them better walking than actually standing still. So practice both! You will need both skills for further articles!
